NFL Honors Award Winners #SB50

The night before the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers meet in Super Bowl 50, the National Football League handed out 17 awards at NFL HONORS – a two-hour primetime awards special saluting the best players, performances and plays from the 2015 season.  I’m actually pretty pleased with the list of winners this year. Congrats […]

My visit to NRG Stadium x Texans Store

While in Houston last summer  I heard about the Houston Texan Cheerleaders were having a calendar event at NRG Stadium (formerly Reliant Stadium).  So I took the opportunity to go see what I could see. Though I didn’t get a chance to browse the entire stadium, I got a chance to check out the Houston […]

A first for Cam Newton or a Finally for Larry Fitzgerald

ARIZONA CARDINALS (14-3 ) VS. CAROLINA PANTHERS (16-1) The game will also mark the first time in NFL playoff history that two Heisman Trophy winning QBs will start against each other, as Cardinals QB Carson Palmer (2002) meets Panthers QB Cam Newton (2010). QB Carson Palmer earned his first career postseason victory with a win over […]

Just like last year the Titans fall to the Colts.

Football is supposed to be about improvement but it seems the Titans have regressed. Last year they picked 2nd in the draft.  This year they will pick 1st in the draft after going 3-13.     Just like last year the Titans fell to the Colts and ended their season on a losing note.

Redskins end the season with a win #WasvsDal #HTTR

Being 9-7 isn’t great but it’s enough to win the NFC East. The Redskins have already clinched a playoff berth, this win against the Cowboys was purely for fun. The Redskins beat the Cowboys 34-23.    After the playoffs I wonder what the Redskins will do with RGIII.

Denver Broncos are headed to the playoffs

In overtime and with an AJ McCarron missed snap the Denver Broncos are headed to the playoffs.    The game could’ve ended in regulation but Broncos kicker missed the field goal.  But he did make up for it and hit the next field goal in overtime. That put the Broncos ahead and the Bengals were […]

Jets beat Patriots

Sinking ship might have been the thought during last week speech by Calvin Pace. But given the Jets dominating and surprising win against the Patriots in OVERTIME. Brandon Marshall put on a show and Eric Deckers OT touchdown catch sealed the deal against the Patriots. Today coach Bowles  and QB Ryan Fitzpatrick addressed the media. […]

Still Undefeated: Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, Cincinnati Bengals

All they do is WIN!      The Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots joined the Cincinnati Bengals as the only 8-0 teams in the NFL. That marks the most 8-0 teams in a season in NFL history. Carolina defeated Green Bay 37-29 and New England knocked off Washington 27-10. On Thursday night, Cincinnati beat Cleveland 31-10. These three teams […]

Don’t Be Annoying: Super Bowl 50 Edition #SB50

Posted  February 7, 2016  by  Head Heel in Charge

Don’t be annoying  during Super Bowl Sunday that asks the dumb questions. During the game is not the time to understand the many idiosyncrasies of football. No time to ask why Cam Newton keeps dancing, or what is that dance called, or why Peyton Mannings forehead is so big.  Since the Super Bowl brings together fans […]

Super Bowl Sunday is Finally Here #SB50

Posted  February 7, 2016  by  Head Heel in Charge

This is what all the hard work comes down too. Super Bowl 50 is finally here. It feels like the season just stared doesn’t it? It’s been a week jammed packed with all football everything. It even resulted in a Broncos player being sent home for soliciting a hooker! Crazy. Media have been covering both […]
